Okay, so I have been there three days, and the day that I did inspection, there were dead roaches on the counter! the stove was sticky, stains in the carpet, and hair in the bathtub. This was Sat, (today is tuesday). They said they would clean it up, so we offically moved in Sunday. Well, roaches everywhere! Seriously! Then there were crickets all over the floor (turned out there is a hole in the wall). These crickets were the size of my thumb! Just nasty. I have decided that i will be moving as soon as possible. When i spoke to the managment, they said it was my fault for moving in a week early. I'm like you offered it to me, and you gave me the that apartment I asked for wasn't ready! They admitted no body cleaned it before we moved in (after they lied and said that they did, even though there is a red stain in the carpet).
There are so many --------- around here! When you come outside, you hear them booming their music from their cars, and you smell all kinds of crap they cook. Inside so far is quiet.
Parking so far is okay if you live up front, the back is horrible.

What an outrage. Me being of Hispanic decent and living at Cider Mill for the last 6 years. I have raised my children there. My feelings are if you moved early then yes the apt should have been clean but if you were in a rush to move in then you need to accept what you moved into. Also you could have refused till it was clean. But did you NO. My other problem is did you drive through the complex when you were looking? You would have noticed all this and to be frank about another thing hispanic cooking doesn't smell half bad in my book. You are the kind of resident that makes racial tensions high, why not try being friendly to your neighbors and for the staff there as well. They might be more open to helping you. also you found this web site so why didn't you check this site out before renting there

You should know, that I only moved in a few days before hand, and I said to them, if it's not ready, then I'll wait a week, don't worry about it. They said, no, no, that apartment isn't ready but we have another one that is (the one I'm in now). They said it had been sitting there for a week, ready, and that I could take it. Then after I moved in, they said they forgot to clean it. Also, before I signed the papers they said they would have it ready, and I actually watched them go to clean it, being the trusting person I am, I thought they would keep to their promise. Yes I drove through the place, and I personally didn't have a problem with it them (10 in the morning), it's only after you move in and you've been there in the after noon that everyone is playing there music loud as hell, I don't think everyone listens to there music booming at10 am, do you? Oh, and the cooking probably didn't smell half bad because, your HISPANIC. Your USED to the funky smells. If you moved into a black complex (like in Landover) and you smelled all the crap they are cooking, you'd probably be like that crap stinks too. I can help it if it stinks. I didn't say everyone... I am very nice to the people around, including my staff. I have not run into my apartment one time without speaking to somebody I run across, and they have been just as nice. Even when they are banging that dang music loud as hell, I'm still nice about it and I don't get all up in their face. The only reason your made about this post is because I said ---------. Well lady, sorry to say this but the truth is there ARE --------- everywhere, the people I see ARE --------- booming there music. Hell, if I was in a black complex and the black people were doing the same thing I'd say the black people. I didn't look on this site because I just found it when I posted it hear. Who in there right mind would rent from Cider Mill AFTER reading all this? And if I'm such a racist, then I would do what other people have said on the site and call you all nasty names, or said that you all brought the roaches with you, but I didn't, did I?
