Lived in HELL for 2 years and now THANK GOD I ve moved out of that ghetto.
All the reviews telling the truth about this place are from real people who actually have to live in this nightmare. The nice things being said here is probably from people from management trying to clean up the image of this dumpster.
I used to live on a building all the way in the back. And let me tell you, I had mice, roaches, earwigs, flies and all kinds of nasty stuff you can imagine. And I lived on the 3rd floor!!! My apartment was ALWAYS spotless clean, but still the damn mice wouldn t go away.
The neighbors were another nightmare: 10 people or more per apartment, loud music all times of day and night. My walls and floor were constantly vibrating from their horrendous Spanish music. I called the police at least 10 times because I couldn t stand the noise 24 hours a day.
The community is full of Spanish men who sit around all day on the stairs/parking lot, drinking, trashing and harassing women/girls.
Some thugs tried to open my door more than twice and I was always afraid of being alone. I wouldn t even go outside to throw out the trash. My husband would always have to do this. I was a prisoner in my own house.
On Halloween, teenagers and FULL grown men walk around at night throwing rotten eggs at windows, balconies, cars and even people.
There have been innumerous robberies, assaults, cars broken into and drug selling/consumption on the parking lot at night. The police is on this place EVERY NIGHT. When you call in, you don t even need to say cider mill, just say lost knife and they already know.
Office staff is pretty much useless and good luck getting a maintenance person who speaks English. Oh, by the way, sometimes they will come in, not leave a notice, and only dirty footprints on your carpet.
As far as AC/Heater goes, it is centralized. You DO NOT control it. AC is only turned on at the end of may/beginning of June when you are already DYING from heat. Heating is only on later on too, so you will be cold for at least a month.
Oh, and by the way, utilities are NOT what you use, but what the entire building uses. We got charged for heater in JULY.
All in all, this place in trashed, dangerous, dirty and disgraceful. If you have any love for your life and piece of mind DO NOT move in here.
I mean, just take ANY day and drive by all over the community and you will see it for yourself the kind of thugs that hang around this place.

I am a current resident, who is trying desparately to get out of my lease. The person who posted this is 1000% correct about this dump. I have the gaithersburg and montgomery county police on spead dial. I also have called the health authorities. only after almost getting killed from a gas leak (maintenance tried to "fix" my stove) did i finally get a way out. it only took the fire department having to evacuate my whole building so that we wouldn't blow up and a statement saying that maintenence almosted "fixed me for good"...that i finally am getting out. STAY AWAY. maintenance is incompetent. management obviously does not live here. and those who continue to live really don't care about their safety, health---or are illegal.
