These apartments look really nice on inside--big for the area.

However, the first day I moved in we had a HUGH roach problem--coming out of sink, everywhere. Took a week to resolve. However, management was very accomadating in solving the problem.

Parking is an issue. If you get home late at night, there is almost NO parking. I am concerned about this because my job will not allow me to get home until late. Safety is an issue: 2 assaults, 2 mugging since I have lived here. There was an attempted robbery of a pizza delivery person.Some parents don't watch their kids and they block the parking lot and don't let you park. THe stairwell can turn into a post-school hang out.

Big problem with neighbors. The floors are really thin. I have neighbors that pour dirty water over their balcony into first-floor neighbor; throw tree off balcony; leave shoes outside door blocking access to apartment/stairwell, neighbors who blast their music LOUD most the day so you can hear words in apartment. Neighbors who blast music until 3 am.
Meanwhile, since the floors are too thin,neighbors complain whenever they feel one is "walking too loud". I can hear my downstair neigboors TV easily.



apartments: Roaches--not a nice greeting guest. However, about 2 months later, roaches went away. One benefit of apartment: Full washer/dryer in every apartment. Spacious and good price for 2bdrm/2bath.

Management: Problems. Utilities are all on one bill, and I am being charged 5time amount using, especially considering half the time, I have turned off. They told me that my power bill wasn't high as others, so I had nothing to base complaint on. Friendly and cordial, but don't seem to understand parking difficulties, problems with neigboors..there office hours are 9-5, so difficult trying to get a hold of them. Electricity frequently goes down. Water goes off w/o warning due to backup into some apartments.Make sure you have a back up battery operated alarm clock.

Biggest problem: parking, power bill, noisy neighbors. However, noise problems are FAR less than last apartment, and arent' the worse--tolerable. Just need to "walk quieter" ;)
