I've lived here for just under a year now, and I'm not sure if I've been lucky or if the people writing the awful reviews just live in a really ------ building. I moved in here even though the rent was a little high because they had just renovated. I love my new appliances and cute lights. Now the outside is being redone, though I don't think it makes much of difference. Also, after the girl was shot in the parking lot a few months ago, more lights have been added outside. I'm a young girl living by myself, and I feel fairly safe, past murder aside. I've never been attacked or even bothered, and no one has touched my car. There are roaches, and more recently crickets. On average I see maybe one bug a week. Maybe less. I know my neighbors downstairs have it worse. By the way, if you can't stand hearing your neighbors, don't move in here. The walls are very thin. Very. I think the kids upstairs regularly drop bowling balls on the floor, but I'm not sure. You get used to it, and none of my neighbors fight or have late parties. People here seem nice- kids, especially, are out in the courtyard a lot. I think the only thing that ever really bothered me about this place was in the summer when the little ones would run around screaming their damn heads off.
I will be renewing my lease, and I would recommend this complex to people who can't spend more than $1200 a month for a one br. If you can afford more, you can find nicer. My utilities for a one bedroom run around $130 a month. I'm not sure where the last reviewer came up with $250. Don't leave your lights on all day. And parking is the other thing everyone seems to hate. It's crammed, and after six it's really crammed. But in such a big place, you can't park right in front of your door every day. If you're picky and whiny, you shouldn't move in here, because the place isn't perfect. But it's nice, and fairly cheap for the area.
