well like the reviews from before: the staff people at grove park in the beginning are nice...until you mention you are moving out and then that's another story.
I was there for 14 months and I'm so glad I'm out.
Your deposit will not be refunded so don't be expecting it. they will then say they have no records of your move in list(the carpet when i moved in was used, they charged me for the carpet when I moved out' of course the none of the old staff is working there now so your word means nothing.
My 2 parrots died while I lived there, apparently there was a gas problem....so please be careful(that's one of the reasons why I moved out). I'm now living in a gas place and my new parrot is alive and happy, of couse they didn't even say anything when my parrots died. I even called the fire department and had maintenance check the apartment. MY BEST ADVISE IS RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
THEY PROBABLY KNOW WHO I AM, YES I'M THE RENTER WHO PAID HER RENT ON TIME FOR 14 MONTHS!!! AND YOUR NOW CHARGING ME FOR THE USED CARPET.....
MAINTENANCE IS OK AND SO IS MARSHA!!! :)

I just visited the complex and thought that it looked good. I like the way the apartment flows and the new carpets and the appliances. I am getting the 3-bedroom and have opted for the top floor. I have been reading the reviews and I am now scared of signing on the dotted line...

I'm a current resident and read these reviews prior to moving in. The apartments cosmetically are great, however driving through the parking lot is at your own risk because some of the residents have no respect for the speed limit in a parking lot. The utilities are based on the number of residents that are on your lease and your apartment size so if you and your mate are rarely home you will still be paying the same utility bills that you neighbor who is home all day. That is really the only issues that I have with Grove Park. There are no bugs, mice, ppl in hallways as I've seen on the other reviews. I would suggest getting an upper level apartment.
