I lived at Hunt Club apartments for 2 years

I had a terrace-level 1 BR with den. It was a nice-sized apartment for the money and had a good amount of storage space. Unfortunately, apartment ownership changed during my second year, and things went downhill very quickly. The maintenance staff was slow to respond. I once had to wait for nearly 48 hrs. to have them repair a stopped-up toilet; I frequently had leaking from the water heater; and the AC was problematic.
Bugs were always a problem. Centipedes, spiders, carpenter ants, and occasionally roaches. I sprayed the apartment on a bi-weekly basis. Noise from unit to unit was pretty awful as well. I swore I had BigFoot living in the apartment above me.
The administration was very cavalier. They gave lip service only to keeping their residents happy. When I finally moved out, I had to wait 90 days to get back my security deposit (even though I left the place immaculate). I finally threatened to take them to small claims court, and I got my check within two days.
The location is convenient and rather pretty, but looks are deceiving. I would not recommend this apartment community to my worst enemy.
