First of all management is horrible! And without good management the property will be horrible! We have lived in our apartment for about 4 years and are seriously living in a freakin' s**t hole! We requested to have maintenance come and replace tiles in the bathroom from the seventies that are saturated with mold and will not come cleean with bleach or any cleaning product! Our cabinets in the kitchen are completley falling apart and broken (and are from about the 80's). Our flooring is very old wood squares, broken and have no finish left on them. Utility closet door is RUSTED with almost a hole going straight thru it! We have the worst infestation of roaches both large and small and can not get rid of them. This apartment is in deplorable condition! We received notice that there was to be a rent increase and we responded by asking to have some minor repairs done to show for the increase and we were denied of anything and everything! TO TOP IT OFF. . . CAR THEFT is a horrible problem! Our neighbors vehicle was stolen a few weeks before OURS was! Then another neighbors vehicle was stolen shortly after that! We will NOT be staying anylonger and I DO NOT RECOMMEND SIGNING A LEASE IN HELL! Angela and Marsha are the worst to deal with. Myrna is not so bad but she is just leasing and really can not get anything done within her power.

I've dealt with the above named individuals and agree with your "personality" profile of mgmt. Mirna seems really nice and helpful; Marsha has that fake sounding voice where she was nice to me (because they want me to rent an apt) but I'd hear them talk badly about their residents. I had a question and had the unpleasant experience of speaking with Angela, who was very confrontational and not very nice. (I had an innocent inquiry.....nothing for her to have a cow about!)They do seem to have difficult jobs and I imagine you start to develop an attitide after doing their jobs for awhile; however, that's no excuse and their tenants should be treated nicely and with the same respect paid to them. My apt. looks pretty nice...at least what I expect for the reasonable rent being charged.I ACCEPT that the cabinets are older and that everything isn't brand-new...but I will not tolerate insect/roach problems nor unresponsive management. If any of these conditions start to exist, I will become the biggest pain in the ace they have ever dealt with! Additionally, I'm very aware of the strong laws in force for Montgomery County housing conditions and will not hesitate to invoke these if needbe. (PG Cty has fewer protections and landlords can get away with just about anything!) One last thing to be cautious of: High Utility bills! Exercise extreme caution and question the new water billing program they have where you have to pay for your neighbors water! They started this 2 months ago and it's the biggest ripoff! Angela, Marsha and Mirna don't understand how the program works nor does anyone at Kay Mgmt's corporate office.

Wow this is wild.... I was going to check out this apartment Saturday... I have reviewed all of the comments thats listed and im not happy.
