So, the good news:
- Community looks lovely. Clean. Relatively new.
- The floor plans I looked at were all spacious and the units in good repair. The kitchen has plenty of cabinet space, and I have a full-size W/D.
And now the rest:
- Sporadic office hours that don't meet the needs of working tenants. I'm already at work by the time they open, and just leaving the office when they close. Most places I've lived in the past had one evening a week they would stay open to accomodate tenants. Not here. You're stuck waiting until Saturday.
- I rented a 2BR apartment...and was given one parking space. And it's SMALL. They obviously tried to cram as many spaces as possible into the building without thinking about whether or not the spaces are even big enough to open your car door. This has been a huge problem. Furthermore, there is very limited street parking, and those are snapped up by tenants who weren't given adequate spaces, so if you have a guest there is absolutely nowhere for them to park. Nowhere.
- The trash. Where to start' How about the fact that the trash is piled up everywhere around the dumpster' Or how about the fact that every time someone puts something into the dumpster, the metal door slams shut (loud) and it compacts' EVERY TIME someone puts something in it. Or how about the fact that the huge trucks roll in around 7:00 am every Friday morning to empty the dumpster' Hope you weren't thinking about trying to sleep in a little.
- Called the office to inquire about an issue and was told the manager
