Overall, I am very happy with Park Station. I am not renewing because of a new job too far away to stay here.
Like all that post here, I agree that the trash situation is ridiculous- the dumpsters are a good 7 minute walk from our unit, and since there is only two bins for a complex this size, I mustly end up throwing my bag onto the pile of bags that won't fit in the bins.
Parking situation here is bad. If you have a garage spot, its great, but people here that have a garage permit are too lazy to walk from the garage to their apartment. So, they park on the street, taking up all the street parking, and if you don't have a garage permit and get home any time after 730, you can't find a spot on the street.
I agree with the ocmment that the area is getting shady. There have been break-ins and strange people knock on our neighbors' apartment at 2 or 3 in the morning now.
The noise isn't that bad, except for our above-stairs neighbors. Seriously, it sounds like a herd of elephants live up there. All the noise coming from upstairs has actually rattled the pictures on our walls and routinely scares our cat.
However, all this said, I have been happy here. The units are large and clean, and we have not had bug problems, which is more than most people can say. The washer and dryer in unit is a life-saver if you are busy like me and my fiance are, and they are pretty well insulated, so we didn't have to run the heater much in the winter, even when it snowed!
Honestly, if I wasn't taking a job elsewhere, we would have renewed here and been quite happy, except for the elephants upstairs and the shady people next door. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
