TOO EXPENSIVE!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/29/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   I lived there one year in a two bed-room, two bathroom apartement. When I moved in in 2000, the prices were OK, above average but still affordable. After my one-year lease expired, they increased the rent of about $300 so I moved out. The place is nice, apartment are very clean, new and quiet except if your apartment face midcounty highway. Appliances are good. Parking is OK. The gate is the most useless thing in the community. When I was there, it was let open almost all the time even by night at 2 am, except when I forgot my pass of course! One sure thing, the gate did not prevent people to break into my car and steal my autoradio :-( I have noticed that people tend to stay there for quite a short time. Basicaly I saw ALL my neighbors moving out during the one-year period I was living there. I moved just two miles away to the Verandahs which is almost as fine (a bit less upscale and older) and a lot cheaper. People are moving out of this community much less which is a good sign...
