I have been living here for a year and everything is pretty okay. I have to agree with most of what the 09/29 post said. The problem I do have is that another company took over the management & I am not sure how I feel about them. They do not seem very friendly & the maintenance person did not seem like he wanted to mess with me. Yes he fixed the problem (kinda), but I did have to wait. The appliances are noisy, but I just turn up the tv.
The stomping is a real problem. I really do not want to live on the third or fourth floors of a place, but I can literally here everything that goes on in the place above me-everything. It is real creepy. Also, the bathrooms are like a meeting place; its like they are all connected & I can hear what goes on in the 3 other apartments. I talked to my neighbors to drop the hint, I dont want people to have to walk on eggshells, but I know I want to know what the people around me are stuck hearing. Besides that, its not that bad, I am just kinda concerned about my privacy. There is not a lot of outside noise except the dogs. I have lived in some places where people were always outside & loud, but it is really quite peaceful here.
The dogs are okay to deal with. Yes, some people dont understand that there might be some people who dont like dogs, but everyone has been really nice to me. There is the problem of barking. My neighbor is never home & his dog barks constantly. I have talked with him, but what can you really do'
Most people do clean up after their dogs, you can see everyone carrying bags & whatnot. Sometimes people do not, but there are other neighborhoods around here & I know some people walk their dogs around the complex at night because it is well lit & seems pretty safe.
I feel safe & I ride the bus. I have to walk a bit, but it is mostly within the complex so I do not mind.
Generally, I would recommend this complex. The problems are superficial & come with living in apartments. It is just hard when you have to share common walls & common yards. I am happy here & I am glad I chose to live here.
