We rented an apartment in Avalon Knoll Germantown for a year. We moved out because the rental office did not do anything to help us with our loud downstairs neighbors. They will blast their music laud in any time of the night, they will sit outside on their deck smoking, laughing and talking loudly in the middle of the night. If you live in Avalon, you will know that your Master Bedroom is next to the balconies.

When we contacted the Rental Office, they did not believe us. They said that they called people downstairs and the people said that they do not have loud music or parties!' And the rental office believed them!!'' I told them that I also called police several times, they still did not do anything. The person downstairs (i feel)was violent and would come upstairs to yell at me if I would complain about the nuisances. I did not feel safe and comfortable there. We even called and invited someone from the Main Office to come and hear the laud music, but they never would because they cannot leave the office now!

Rental office promises a lot, but they do not do anything. Do not rent here and do not rent apt # 1438, trust me, it is a nightmare.

But I need to thank people downstairs at least for one thing, if they were polite and considerate neighbors, we would not moved out so soon and then we would not bought our house in the neighborhood where people have ethics, common sense and consideration for one another.
