Equity apartments period are awful. They are old poor maintenance and crime rate is becoming high. I am a 2yr resident at Oakmill Apartments in Germantown. Would have rated this apartment individually however it didn't have it's own category, so I use Canterbury's since it is apart of Equity. I do know that Canterbury apartments are the same style as Oakmills, however their floors creek really bad. Oakmill looks like a nice apartment community however the look is deceiving. The maintenance is awful. They don't come in a 24hr or 48hr period to service your apt. The staff is uncaring. There is auto,motorcycle theft, and auto break-ins, leaky AC units, leaking ceilings and window sills when it rains or snow melts, roaches, and drug dealing at night. These apartments are old and are falling apart. They just keep on coating paint and sealant over everything. I lived at Rolling Hills and never experienced this kind of living. When my lease is up I am living. The rent is like $1050 starting. It is not even worth it. It is worth more like $750. Oakmill should be ashamed to price so high and they don't even give you quality living.
