Unsafe, Dingy, Thin Walls...the list goes on.

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
My boyfriend lived at Canterbury for 2 years, and every time I visited I was scared for my life. You couldn't blame me - I was a bit traumatized by the fact that he was held up at gunpoint right in the parking lot. Later, I found out from a coworker that two other such instances happenned on this property. It's a scenic area because it's isolated and there's a walkway and tress, but that also means there are a lot more places for sketchy people to lurk around.
As for the place itself, it was old and unclean. When people walked in the apartment above you it felt like they were walking on the same floor - which made for some interesting dreams the mornings I woke up alone when my boyfriend was at work. I honestly just don't feel that this place is safe, and the management doesn't seem to care to do anything to help. I definitely do NOT recommend living here. I did for a month and it was enough to get me frantically searching for my own place.
Other noteworthy mention: SPIDER & ant infestation, lack of parking, rude/loud neighbors, condescending (and brainless) management, funky apartment smell from day 1, extremely (probably dangerous) hard water, poor quality furnishing, windows that wouldn't fully close...like I said, the list goes on.
