DON'T MOVE IN HERE!!!! The floors are super thin, and let through every single noise your upstairs neghbor will take(ALL NIGHT LONG!!!). And speaking of upstairs neighbors, the ones that live on the top floors at The Elms are all jerks; they clomp around 'till all hours, and when you complain to the leasing office about the noise, your complaints will fall on deaf ears. All the leasing staff is concerned about is collecting the rent checks, if you complain about noise YOU are labeled a complainer, and they do nothing about it.

I do live on the top floor, so I cant't speak directly to the thin ceilings. I have heard that the walls and ceilings are thin. I have had nothing but positive encounters with the staff and the neighborhood is very nice. I guess if you are looking here, look at the lofts because they are very nice and all on the top floor.

I have lived in apartment for a very long time. there is no way will find an apartment that you will not here any sound. If you are so sensitive to noise get a single family home. the office staff is great! What do can they do about the noice if it is the walls are thin and everyone else is a Jerk according to you. It sounds to me like you are the one with a problem.
