As typical of construction during the "boom", workmanship is very poor. Doors don't close, the window screens don't fit the window's leaving a .5 inch gap in every window. You can hear every door close, every toilet flush and general movement of your neighbors.
Being situated on the corner of two major roads only adds to the noise level that seems to just poor into the apartment. The management staff is either fradulent or incompetent. I paid the rent, the check cleared my bank. They said I still owed them $100.00. I showed them the cancelled check. They admitted they made a mistake and presented the check to their bank for $100 less than the check was written for. I provided proof that my bank redeemed the check for the full and proper amount. They still continue to claim that I owe them money.
Stay far away from this place.

Actually, I agree with the incompetent part. The check for rent happened to us as well, and I always use the rent box outside the leasing office. I have been here for 3 years with no problems until they called to say we owed them half the rent since they only had 1 of 2 checks we enclosed. We never miss a beat when it comes to paying bills/rent until they misplace our payment and we have to issue a new check and work with our bank not to charge for stop payment. We always hear toilets flush, as well as always have debris outside our apartment from other renters above dropping/littering down the stairwell.

I do not agree with your opinion. The construction is that of any apartment community. I have lived in many apartments over the years and you can always here some sort of noise. As far as the traffic goes, we live in the city with many benefits of being close to the major roadways. If you don't want to hear any noise and no traffic then the city must not be the place for you. Although in a single family house you will still hear noise as you flush the toilet or close a door. As far as management, to me it sounds like a simple accounting error. I'm sure it will be solved in time. Therefore, that does not make the management staff fradulent or incompetent.
