I lived here for a year and liked it very much. It's quiet, well maintained, and the people are pretty friendly. The office staff was a little slow to respond sometimes, but I've had much worse. The park across the street was nice for a walk or to play catch, and the pools were nice and well maintained. Fitness center is small but rarely busy and is great if you just want a convenient workout.

However, the units are on the small side for the price you're paying, and it might be worth it to shop around the area - there are some other places that are just as nice but cost less. My only major complaint was the parking - work sometimes forced me to get in after 9 or 10pm and sometimes I would have to park pretty far from my apartment. Assigned spaces would have helped. One last warning - if you are a smoker, be prepared to be slapped with a large payment for "repainting" when you leave.

Overall though, I would recommend Gables - we were pretty happy with it.
