I do not live at the Gables, my boyfriend and myself are currently living at Pinnacle at Town Center. We went out shopping this past weekend since our lease here is up in April. Glad to say we did find a really nice community at Milestone, and we are preparing to sign the lease. Anyway, we were out shopping and it was a horrible rainy day, so naturally we didn't wear our dressiest clothes, just jeans and sweatshirts. (I dress up in suits 5 days out of the week for work, so I really don't like to dress up on the weekends). My boyfriend is a government contractor who makes a great deal of money for only being 25. As soon as we walked into the office, this ------- american woman gives us a snotty look and takes a good 3 minutes to walk over to greet us (which did not happen at any of the other complexes we had visited). She looked both of us up and down about 3 times and calls us over to her desk. She asked us what we were looking for and when we wanted to move. We told her and she very unenthusiastically looked at her roster of available apartments and told us that there was nothing for us. SHE NEVER ONCE MADE EYE CONTACT! Big Mistake on her part! That was one of the most unpleasant experiences while apartment hunting, that I've ever had in my life! I'm a sales major and the number one rule is to make eye contact, and to treat every person like they're your next client.
I strongly advise that you either A) don't move here, or B) avoid this woman at all costs!

It is unfortunate that you had to experience this type of unprofessional behavior because no one should be subjected to such rudeness. Unfortunately, as a clean cut ----------------------------- Attorney who wears $500 dollar suits every day, I encounter this behavior from ---------- on a daily basis. From expensive restaurants to the local supermarket, all too often this is the norm. Although not justified, what you experienced is the same treatment that many persons of color encounter on a daily basis. We need to make a change!

This is true... I just went there and talked to her. She was talking on the phone for 15min until she came to me. She wasn't talking business either! Yes it was --------. She was very rude.

I agree I live in the Gables and I love my place but for the rental office -------- is nasty, I hate to go there to bring my rent becuse she always has that nasty dispusition about her, for the Man in the office he is nice but they can retrain --------
