My husband and I have lived at the Gables for just over a year and we are renewing out lease. It's a nice place in a residential area, parking has never been a problem for us (we have 2 cars), the apartments are nice, and the staff at the leasing office has been helpful. The only drawbacks to living here are that the dumpster is locating at the front of the complex, so you have to load your garbage into your vehicle or carry it all the way to the front; also, it's just a little too far from DC for us. We have had a problem with our new upstairs neighbor, but the staff dealt with it quickly and decisively. This neighbor is particularly noisy - there had been a couple living there before him and we never heard them. Other than those drawbacks, it is a great place to live!
