We really liked these apartments when we first moved in, despite very slow maintence and multiple A/C and heat issues. Garnetta is gone, so when we call maintenance now we actually get a worker over the same day. The poor guys are totally overworked and need at least one more person on their staff.

The apartments are spacious and have a lot of storage, which is a big plus. You can find townhouses in the same price range, but the apartments are actually more spacious from what I've seen.

We live in building 16 so have never had a parking problem. I can see that some buildings have a major problem. I have always felt safe when walking around in the evening.

We have had five different next door neighbors in three years. All of them have generated a lot of noise except for the current ones. Our downstairs neighbors tell us we are way too loud b/c our toddler runs around a lot.

The main problem is the ammenities. The gym is extremely dirty and outdated. The lap pool was broken last summer. They tried to repair it the last week of the season but didn't succeed. The pools opened on Monday and the lap pool is still unusable, though the family pool is fine.

The playground is beyond dangerous. I wouldn't let my child play on it, even if my child was 10 years old and able to navigate danger. The mulch hasn't been replaced in years and there are shards of glass sticking up all over the place. The swings are falling apart, boards are missing from the equipment, the benches are missing boards, the garbage can literally rusted apart but they didn't replace it. It's disgusting. There is a public park across the street, but it is not a savory place to hang out after school lets out unless you want your children learning curse words and fighting off bigger kids who have no parental supervision.

Overall, I would recommend this apartment to young people, but not young families.
