I have lived here for over 2 years and I have seen the complex rapidly decline. We originally moved in because the apartment was affordable and the area seemed relatively quiet. However, the area has declined. We have neighbors from West Virginia that have a 1 bedroom with about 10 people living there. I think that daughter turns tricks out of her car. She is always getting into the car at odd hours of the night with different men. Contractors were hired to fix the siding and roof and actually put holes into the walls by using nails that were too long. They aren't small holes either! We constantly get letters from the management about the crimes committed here. Our most recently letter concerning a shooting on-site was not distributed to all households but was placed above the mailboxes. We've lived here for so long because of money issues. At one point, we hoped to move into a house but couldn't afford it. Finally, we're getting the hell out of here and into a 2-bedroom. Our 1-bedroom is like a shoebox.
