Under the new management things have gotten much worse here at the Hamptons. The neighborhood has become frighteningly ghetto. Parking is a nightmare and I hate having to park so far away from my apartment when it's dark and there are often shady people hanging around. If you get home from work after 5pm or go out on the weekends, you can expect to be parking at least a block away from your apartment. The parking lot is full of cars that don't seem to belong to anyone who actually lives here -- so residents who actually have jobs cannot find any parking upon returning home from work. The management has been made aware of this problem, but does nothing about it. Loud gangster music is played at all hours (a direct violation of the lease we all had to sign) but the management does nothing about it. They don't care about the tenants at all, they just take your money and turn a deaf ear to anything you need. Leasing manager Veronica is snooty and condescending, informing you that "unfortunately" she can't (read: won't) do anything about even the most basic request. Also hang on to your rent receipts; their record-keeping is horrible and after paying your rent you can expect letters stating that you haven't paid and owe late fees, etc. It's a major hassle. The one good thing is that the renovated apartments are fairly nice inside. Still you can definitely do much better... I can't wait to get out.

I agree with everything you said. I live at this apartment and this place is a joke. My neighbors are all trash, blaring music at 7am on sunday morning because they have been up all night on drug binge Im sure. Drug dealers with pit bulls down the way (yes and did we mentione we have a breed restriction here, funny how that gets followed) It took me having to call the regional manager of the property to get my maintance requests resolved. The accessories are cheap, my blinds wont even open. Thank god they fired that property manager they had, he was a drunk, causing fights with some of my neighbors and did I mentioned, fratanized with other tenants, thats professional. This place is a joke and needs to change. My husband and I can not wait to get out of here. Go somewhere else, the price is not worth what you will pay to live here. Trust us...just go somewhere else.
