First: The maintenance people are great. They are professional and do their jobs well. That is the only good thing about the place. The 1970s combination AC/Heat unit is like the one in a cheap motel. Basically a big, noisy, hole in the wall. Ground floor appartments have to have the noisy heater running constantly to stay warm in the winter. The upstairs apartments never get cool no matter how much they run the A/C. Either way the electric bill is astronomical for such a tiny place. On-site laundry facilities have large washers that only half fill with water and cost $1.50 per load. A load is about 4 pairs of jeans. Dryers cost the same. Neither work well and refunds are so hard to get that they may as well be non existant. Drugs, robberies, and car break-ins are becoming common place but the office staff does not let the residents know about it. You have to find out through word of mouth. Strange people knock on your door in the middle of the night looking for drugs. Office staff is rude and inefficient. One resident had been begging them for help with the fleas for months but they refused to treat them because they said if the resident did not have a pet they would not have fleas. The County had to be called to force them to do what was right. To punish the resident they sent pest control in without notifying the resident to remove any pets from the apartment. The pet nearly died. They schedule appointments with residents then break them after the resident gets to the office. Currently, they are forcing residents to move out of their apartments so that they can be "rennovated" but they are giving the residents only 15 days notice and raising their rents! Rent is raised the maximum allowed by law every year. Be afraid. Be very afraid. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
