New Jack City

Location is great with a host of supermarkets, restaurants, coffee-shops and shopping near by. But the big but is these apartments are turning into the "new jack city" of drugs and gangs. I have moved from these apartments and was disappointed in the thin windows that allow the cold in the winter to maintain a very cold apartment, walls are thin-thin and there seems to be someone is always getting evicted. Which relates to the caliber of those getting approve for the apartments.
The older maintenance men are great and address the problems and Ms. Liz and Jeanne are great ladies and put forth a real effort to help. But the property manager fails in her position as a property manager and as a caring individual. I noticed the declined in the apartments when she became the property manager. The rental office in the pass had a sense of friendliness not anymore since Anita was hired as the property manager.
Small galley kitchen just enough for one person and the superficial updates are small and none-eye catching. Before I moved I witnessed ten people living in a 2bedroom apartment try living under them for a year..madness. No washer/dryer in units and apartments are small and unsafe. Vehicles have been broken into and signs of gang graffiti was occurring when I lived there. Rent is cheap if you work for the county but not worth the unpleasant environment.
