I hate this place. The staff is rude, uncooperative and NEVER, EVER returns your calls. We moved into a 2 Bed/2 Bath on the second floor in Jan 2004. The carpet had dirt and grease stains throughout the apartment. The blinds were filthy, I don't know what is on them but I can't get them clean. I have complained about the carpet on a weekly basis (going on week 9) and everytime I do, they look at me like I'm nuts. Most of them just brush you off, they don't care. I've had 2 different people tell me they would take care of it and get back to me within 24 hours...It's been a LONG, LONG 24 hours. Parking is ok if you get home early and don't leave. They have no idea what plowing snow means. My car was plowed in by a huge pile of snow - it got stuck and we had to push it out. The sidewalks had snow piled on them - You literally had to climb over mounds of snow & ice to get to your car. I don't know how anyone who was disabled or had difficulty walking would be able to do it. I guess they just had to stay inside until the snow finally melted. You can hear the neighbors. Garbage recepticles are at each end of the complex - fine if you live over there. The rest of us have to fight with bags of garbage to take it out. I've seen a lot of people put full trash bags in their car and drive it over to get rid of it. Who wants to do that' In my opinion this place is way overpriced. They won't give us a copy of the lease, even though I've asked repeatedly. They suddenly just started charging for extra stuff - which I don't think they legally can. When I inquired about it, I was told everyone got a letter about it about 2 weeks ago. I didn't get any letter and was told they just didn't have any left. As I said before I hate this place. If I could afford it, I would leave now. But then I would have to pay an extra month's rent for leaving early. I cannot afford that. But the minute our lease is up, I'm out of this place. I've seen some cars vandalised in the lot, and I've heard that break-ins are increasing. I live with a cop and really don't feel safe when I'm alone.
