Do you know where your security deposit is' From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/11/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I lived in MS for a year and my lease ended 05/15/06. I moved out the first of June and turned in all the keys. I inquired several times about my security deposit and no answer from anyone. I finally receive the letter in the mail stating that I am getting my entire deposit back with interest. But it does not say when I am receiving it. According to the lease it suppose to be returned to you within 45 days. The "New" Property manager told me on the 46th day that it was in the mail when I called her. A few days later I called back and the guy that answers the phone said that it was not in the mail. So to make a long story short I had to contact Landlord tennant affairs. They are horrible when it comes to this so tennant be ware.
