I received an email from Milestone regarding the code to the fitness center. I realize that non-residents often use the fitness center and it is necessary to reset the password periodically. However, I did not appreciate having my email address sent to everyone on the email list of over 200 residents. When I called to complain about this, I was told that it would take too long to email everyone individually. When I attempted to explain the "blind carbon copy" feature in most email providers, I was told that the emails were a courtesy and I could have my email address removed if I wished. I am a resident at Milestone. I think that it is great that the code is changed periodically to ensure proper usage by residents only. I was so happy to find out that they were offering the code to be distributed through e-mail, as I work long hours and cannot make it into the office with picture id everytime the code changes. I am not sure why it is such a horrible thing that your e-mail went to other fellow residents. Have you had problems with the other residents selling your e-mail address to spammers?? Or getting extra junk mail from them? Like I said I was glad that the hassle was gone from trying to obtain the code and now it just seem there is more hassles about it. It just goes to show: you can't please everyone.
