I agree with a previous reviewer who stated that Archstone ran this facility in a much more efficient and professional manner!! Since Alliance took over the property has deteriorated substantially! I often came home to find my dog cowering in a corner looking frightened and crying. Found my toilet seats up and drinks missing from my refrigerator, a clear indication that "someone" had been using my unit as a refreshment stand and may have been mistreating my dog. When confronting management I was told that there was "no way anyone would enter my apartment without my prior knowledge and approval". I explained to them what I had found and they suggested that I had given my key to someone else that was entering my apartment on their own. Unfortunately for their theory, I lived alone and had just relocated from another state and knew NO BODY and had installed new locks as soon as I moved in. The ONLY people who had access to my unit was Milestone and ME!!
I also paid rent on a garage which was located 2 buildings away. When a garage became available outside my building (that I could actually see) I inquired about switching garages. They said sure, no problem we just need to clear it with the manager...I followed up once a week for 5 months till eventually they rented it to the guy that moved in below me. This was a simple request that went ignored for almost half a year while this garage sat empty. Unacceptable!!
This last issue took the cake though; the crew that came in to perform the window replacement a few years ago had a guy working with them that was stalking my downstairs neighbor. She went to the management office to complain and nothing happened so she called the police for help. It got so bad that she needed a restraining order (a lot of good that does) and this was all documented. Milestone's response''' They HIRED this guy on full time when the windows were done!!!
Way to go Milestone!!!
Avoid this place at all costs

This also happened to me at Milestone. I came home one day to find my apartment in a different condition than when I left that day. I could tell someone had been there. I know someone was there, although I didn't notice anything missing. Just moved around, as if someone was looking through things. Contractors are always at the apartment community for different reasons. Milestone just leaves a note on everyones door saying "so-and-so will need to enter your apartment in the next few days for upgrades" etc. Management considers this 24-hours notice. I dont want people in my apartment when I'm not home. Especially if I dont trust them. That is one MAJOR thing that I dont like about this place.
