Northlake is one of the most affordable complexes in Germantown. It's not "ghetto" like a few other places I know of. The apartments are spacious; the grounds are dcent; parking is usually not a problem; noise level is never a problem in my section.
The only gripe I have is with management's decision to FORCE residents to vacate and either transfer to a different apt. and pay around $100 more per month or leave Northlake alltogether (and still provide 60 days notice!!). I was told I could stay in my un-renovated apt. when I moved in last year which I intended to do. I am quite happy with my current apartment and do not desire upgrades per se. I JUST found out I have to leave by the end of October and it is a huge inconvenience to me.
