We lived here from nov, 2002 till april 2003. We were looking for a spacious and modern space. And that?s what we got. Given the fact that it?s in boring Germantown, I think that the price was a bit high.

Good things about the app;

1. new and clean

2. spacious

3. lot of light

4. they accept cats (and dogs)

5. friendly staff

6. nice pool

7. parking always available

8. no noise from neighbors, well constructed

9. no insects or other animals that shouldn?t be there

10. close to some small shops and supermarket and so on (nothing special though)



Not such great things;

1.On the TOP, absolutely number 1 is the boring area it?s located. Germantown is an area that?s still in development, maybe it?s nicer in 20 years. But NOW...No! Yes, you can go to the movietheater across the street and to some restaurants but don?t expect any "haute cuisine", it?s all that same boring, every plate has the same crappy food on it, American Style stuff. And "class" and "style" is not to be expected (if you want something better go to Bethesda for instance), so if you are from New York or San Fransisco or so...Germantown will kill you, that?s the main reason that we moved!

2. this area was mainly cowfields/swap, image that and then new apartmentbuildings on it.

3. The building has no elevator which means that you?d better hire someone to do your move for you if you?re on the 3rd floor.



Overall it?s ok and probably the best place to be IF you REALLY have to live in Germantown. It just wasn?t the apartment that turned me off but the town SO much more!
