We had Seneca, 2nd floor
First, to echo the previous review:
1. No window insulation
2. Patio door blows open
3. VERY loud appliances- washer, dryer and dishwasher so loud, you effectively cannot run them at night and expect to sleep.
4. Walls thin, but not unexpected
5. Parking in out location generally OK
Additionally
1. Can feel drafts through main door and electrical outlets in bedroom near entrance
2. Our place smells like mothballs
3. Generally marginal construction
4. Entry stairwell face exterior of buildings so if you do park in the interior lot, you have to pass though a breezeway do a 180 and then climb the stairs. Very inefficient.
Pros
1. Place is generally nice and clean.
2. Right across a parking lot from the express bus to Shady Grove metro. If you work in DC area, you don't have to drive.
3. We got two months free rent.
4. Extremely close to all varieties of shopping and I270
Generally tolerable for a first place after a move
