Convenient location and nice apartments From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/8/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I have been living here for 16 months and have found the location to be convenient and the apartment to be fairly nice. As others have reported I also have problems with the fireplace setting off the fire alarm so I never run it out of fear it may be unsafe (I don't want to die from carbon monoxide poisoning). It doesn't bother me too much because I don't care about the fireplace (except for the extra monthly charge I have to pay for having one). I also experienced the roach and ant problem others mentioned but it was taken care of within a couple of weeks and has not re-occured. I have also experienced the 'ice on the stairs' problem as well as noises from neighbors (especially in the morning when people are leaving to go to work), but it is not as bad as other apartments I have lived in. The maintenence staff has always responded quickly to my concerns and the management staff has been fine. It seems to me that the current management is sincere and means well but may not be very experienced. Having read other people's reviews I hope that my relationship with the management stays nice, because so far I have not been subjected to any of the 'dark side' management stuff mentioned (and hope I never am). All this said I must add that these really aren't luxury apartments, but they are fairly nice apartments in a convenient location. You can probably save about $300 a month for a similar 'nice' apartment in Germantown if you don't care about the location, but if you like having easy access to the interstate, metro and nearby shopping/restaurants it is worth it. Maybe I have been lucky so far in my experience, but I am content here and I am NOT a Bozutto employee.
