Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
pros: nice area - can walk to shops, grocery stores, restaurants, library, Black Rock. apartments are decently sized, especially the 2 bedroom den. helpful and friendly staff. well maintained. never felt unsafe. nice neighbors.
cons: VERY high rent - it's Germantown, not Bethesda. concrete/wood stairwells make quite a bit of noise and can act like a wind tunnel. occasionally rowdy neighbors, usually drunks acting like idiots (to be fair this happened less than 5 or so times in our year here)
overall, we would recommend it. for us the pros far outweighed the cons.
