I've lived at RH for 3-plus years. The apts are nice enough for older places, but they've been poorly maintained, and it shows. We have numerous cracks in the wall; one even goes from floor to ceiling.

I disagree with some of the reviewers about the maintenance staff. In three-plus years, I've never had to wait more than 2 days to get something fixed, and the maintenance staff are very friendly.

It can get quite loud -- there are lots of young people who live at RH. In fact, I'd say that this is a decent place for young people and an awful place for older people. Just depends on your noise tolerance.

One thing I have to agree with: The management staff is TERRIBLE. In the three years I've been there, we've had more managers than Rick James has had girlfriends. The current manager seems to be on top of things so far -- much better than the last four. If you move in, steer clear of Mary in the rental office and go to someone else. Mary is unhelpful, rude, arrogant, and inconsiderate. I really hate to single one person out, but she's genuinely terrible.

Hello and thank you for your honest advise. After 2 years, Rolling Hills should be demolish. The same problems still exist here today. PLease, please call Landlord-Tenant Affairs at (240) 777-3600. The Rental Office still goes thru more managers than Rick James. But, as of this year, My boy Rick James has past away.... Again, thank you and be blessed.
