Rolling Hills Apartments

Positive Comments: The apartments are larger than most that we saw in the same price range. There are lots of young families there, so that was good. The pool is usually empty in the summertime, so you'll have it all to yourself.
Negative Comments: Floors are noisy!! I have children and they could not even take a step without neighbors from below complaining. The biggest complaint is the management. In August of this year, they messed up many many accounts, applying rent to the wrong accounts. I was unfortunately one of the victims. Then, instead of letting people know that they had "delinquent accounts", everyone received summons from the court to appear. I decided it was time to jump ship. I did not want them to ruin my credit. I just couldn't risk it. They said that they resolved the issue, but I would not trust them again.
Overall, the apartments are ok, but beware!

Hello Jumpedship, This has happened to several tenants that I have talked to. I encourage all to please call and report Rolling Hills Apartment to Landlord & Tenant Affairs at (240) 777-3600. The managers at the rental office is ruining everyones rental credit by not applying their check or money order numbers to the rent receipts. Therefore, where is YOUR MONEY going too?......someones pocket! Sara does not know what she is doing on the computer and TY has no clue to how he should fill out a Tenant's rent history form in order for them to move. Another apartment complex manager reported RHA to Landlord and Tenant Affairs. They held a tenant credit report rental history form for 3 months, now she has to pay an additional $100.00 dollars a month before she moves because her lease expired. If the rental office filled out her paper in a timely manner, she would have moved before her lease expired. Now, due to their error, she has to pay more money. The rental office has made alot of delinquent accounts overdue, because of their mistakes. They want you to pay for an investigation of so called lost money orders or checks. And then they might credit your account. PLEASE CALL LANDLORD AND TENANT AFFAIRS AT (240) 777-3600. |
