I have been living at Americana for 3 years. It is nice and quiet. The office staff is always helpful and the maintenance are very nice. The location makes it easy for me to get to work. The only word to describe Americana is PARADISE.

WOW! PARADISE? I'm sorry, are we talking about the same place here? The only one word that I could think of to describe Americana is HELL. I will admit that when I first came here I thought the place wasn't so bad. During my first couple of interactions with the leasing office staff they seemed friendly enough. The apartment itself is fine. I live in a 1 bedroom/1 bath and the apartment is spacious. The floor is a little cruddy and the shower pretty much sucks. I have seen a roach or two and I do believe last summer there was a problem with mice. Still, I'm not an up-tight person. I realize that whole "you get what you pay for" thing. And these issues were not what truly bothered me. I've experienced a lot of "weirdos" around here. People hanging out in the parking lot and sitting on the hood of my car. Other people hanging out on the stairs when I try to enter the apartments giving me looks like they're going to cut me. Neighbors having parties that lead to drunken fights with cursing, broken beer bottles, and baseball bats that lead to the police waking me up at 3 and 4 in the morning. To make matters worse the staff has shown their true colors. They are VERY unprofessional and proven themselves (the manager in particular) to be the worse and rudest people in costumer service that I've ever dealt with in my life! A complaint has been left with the owners of the property, but I seriously doubt that they'll take any action against them. For anyone that's thinking about living here. Don't be fooled. In MY opinion, DON'T! Seriously there are far better things out there and I'll be leaving as soon as possible.

The management runs that 3 ring circus!! No written complaint goes anywhere in fact it makes more problems for the people that live there.. These are the worst apartments I have seen in my entire life
