A few good maintenance guys are there... when they come and if you have shower head or tub problems or sink problems.. they resolve it in a good timely fashion.

I have lived in this place for almost 3 years...Its fine if you pay your rent and never need to call anyone for maintenance. I have had bee problems for the past 1.5 months and they have dragged their feet for so long. I have complaint to the leasing office more than 5 times and the response is ridiculous. I have called emergency service 3 times and they say..."Bee problem" is not an emergency so we can leave a meesage for the office. 1 maintenance guy () came and confirmed that there is a big bee hive above in the attic but no action has been taken to resolve it.

I had roach problems.. it took me 5-6 months to get all the roaches under control. Spent a lot (15-16 cans of RAID raoch control and quite a bit of baits) Now it is under control and I don't have to use a lot of it around the house. The leasing office does not do anything special.. they will not even spary around the building... they forget that this was a marshy land and the land is a breeding ground for pests...

As far as saftey goes... you are on your own. The management does nothing for saftey. Anyone can come to your apartment building and roam around. I have asked them to have a "No soliciting" sign and warn people from roaming around the complex... but they are sleeping on it too.

Some info on pets.... As per lease only pets below 25 pounds are allowed but that is not the case..you can see people roaming around with pets > 25 pounds one of them even bit me (It was a labrador and I had to go to the emergency room) when i approached the leasing office their response was... "we have no one registered with a pet > 25 pounds so we cannot help you". I see the dog come and go out of the building.

In case you have noisy neighbors...we had a neighbour (couple) who was very noisy and they would fight (literally) so often that the police would be coming to their apartment every other day. When we approached the leasing office... their response was "No other neighbors complained so why are you complaining"... when I asked my neighbour they said "we got the same response"... one day when the neighbors were fighting I called the leasing office and told them the fight is on come and take a look... their response "we cannot do anything.. you should call 911"

I have asked them to provide "recycling bins" so we can put recycling stuff in it...again the leasing office is sleeping on it. sometimes I wonder...if the Mark Winkler management even pay the people working in the leasing office.

My main reason to change from "No" to "Yes" is -----'s (Manager) approach to address my issues. She just came to know of the Bee problems and immediately asked the exterminator to address the issue even if it was after duty hours. That's the approach that makes you think that the management does care about its tenants. Good going ----- and thanks for handling the issue as soon as it was raised to you.

I have been here for over 2 years. Maintenance is great. Sorry you have a bee problem, but as you know, bees are very hard to get rid of. Once they hone in on an area, they are there for a long time, it takes time to kill them all, i am sure that maintenance is doing exactly what is called for. Funny thing is though, Maryland especially is going thru a honey bee shortage, I haven't seen but maybe 10 bees all summer. Weird that they chose your building to camp out in with all of the woods around. As far as your roach problems, i don't understand. There is a company under contract to spray. You may have to have 2 sprayings to get rid of roaches and you need to speak with your neighbors and get them to get sprayed the same time you do. These are apartment buildings and people come and go and bring roaches in. And of course, do not leave any food or crumbs out, empty your trash dialy. Maintenance is not responsible for your safety. You are responsible for your safety. If you have people in the building who do not belong there, you need to call the police. You have to be pro-active, and again, speak with your neighbors. If you were bit by a dog, then you need to bring suit against the owners of the dog. It is not the responsibility of maintenance to watch every person in an apartment complex. Did you call the police? Did you call Animal Control? Was the dog tested for rabies? Something sounds fishy here. As far as fighting neighbors, you need to call the police. First of all, they are breaking the peace and if they are fighting like you say they are, aren't you concerned for someone who may be being abused? If you rented a house somewhere and neighbors were fighting, you would not call the person you rent from, you would call the police. It is the same here, the rental office has no authority over fighting couples, call the police and be done with it. I personnally would not even come and look at a fight between a couple, why do you think the rental office would want to get involved. Come on - think about. They are not babysitters, call the police next time. Recycling bins can not be maintained in a complex such as this. It is ludicrous to even think that. I think you are disgruntled about something personal and you chose to pick on the apartment complex to get them back. I have lived in 2 buildings since I have been here and I love it and never have any problems. This is your neighborhood, make an effort to get along, meet your neighbors, become a building family, the rental office and maintenance can not babysit you, be an adult. The grounds are lovely and well kept, the interior of the buildings and apartments are lovely - I am thankful to be here. -----

hahahaha. It is always recommended to read the reason for the complaint before you give your opinion.

I have been here for 3 years,Maintenence is great, they take care of everything as fast as they can, after all there arent enough of them for every single apartment, bees are the problem then spray the hive like you sprayed your roaches i have been spraying everything i see but again this is an apartment complex you dont like it here then get a house .. my building and my family get along great we are a family and we work together to straighten out problems..the leasing office has too much to do to come hear your neighbors fight call the cops or turn up your tv...everyone has the right to make noise it is necessary sometimes i'd hate to see you living under someone with kids or something..
