Studio. Rent started at $450, and used to increase by five or ten dollars a year. Then it started to increase by about $30 a year, and then more. As of right now, its at $550 a month. They do not pay for electricity or gas. They do pay for hot water. It is convenient to everything in Glen Burnie, and I do like that the complex is tucked away. But that's about it.

The buildings must be old, for the pipes in my bathroom make an awful alot of noises. The outside lights are out quite a bit, especially the ones behind the buildings.

I've had to deal with a stalker/peeping Tom in my apartment for two years. I called the police, and notified the apartment complex. Of course nothing has been done. (Im not sure anything could be done) My bike was stolen from my building. Which also nothing could be done about, but doesnt make me any happier.

The kitchen in the studios is so small, why even bother' There is only one plug outlet at well, which is a stupid electrical design. You need extension cords or outlet multipliers of you want a coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster oven, or anything else, because there are only two plugs. Also, there is only one outlet in the bathroom as well. Another extension cord for a hair dryer, curler, electric razor, etc. The light switch for the closet is behind the clothes, which means you have to reach in, and move back your clothing to turn the light on...another bad electrical design.

This last summer was bad because I was constantly having to deal with roaches and crickets getting into my apartment (ground floor). I did not have a problem with that any other previous year, so I don't know what had changed.

I never had a problem with parking, but I think Im at the only building that had plenty of spaces.

Last week I got a notification of another $50 rent increase, to $600 for a one room studio. It seems rather silly to pay that much, when you could get a real apartment with a bedroom and a living room and a real kitchen for the about the same price.

Overall, Ive been growing more and more miserable living at Aquahart. I suppose it nice if your elderly, but the complex has been wearing me down slowly over the past few years, and I am relieved to move out.
