Unlike some of the other reviews, I was happy with my apartment home. I did have silverfish and occasionally a waterbug but then again I lived on the ground floor. I called the office to let them know and the next day an exterminator was out. I never had waterbugs and I don't remember seeing the silverfish after that either.

Linda, the Property Manager, the leasing staff, and maintenance crew were always friendly and professional. One time, I called in an emergency maintenance request on a holiday and maintenance was at my door in approximately 10 minutes. I was impressed!

I lived next to the laundry room and found it to be clean and convenient.

True, there usually were flyers laying around the entrance of the doorway near the mailboxes, but it wasn't a big deal. I sometimes would just pick them up and toss them in my trash. If you want to live in a nice community, you gotta pitch in.

There was always ample parking and even if I would get home in the wee hours of the morning I could find a spot not too far from my apartment building. Of course I felt a little unsafe but being a single woman out in the middle of the night, I would feel that wherever I lived (still do).

I would probably have stayed longer except it was time for me to buy a house. I still live in the area and would recommend Colonial Square. It's affordable and the staff were friendly and responsive. My only suggestion is you may want to choose something on the 3rd floor because I could frequently hear my neighbors above me-whether they were fighting, the opposite of fighting ;), or just walking around.
