My wife and I lived in this apartment community for three years and found it left a lot to be desired.
The upkeep of the common areas of the building were horrible. The bottom floor outside our laundry room had all the tiles removed and a bare subfloor was exposed for the last 18 months we lived there. Neighbors threw garbage, dishes and clothing into the stairwells and on the front stoop. Junk mail and flyers lay constantly around the mailboxes on the first floor.
The laundry facility in each building flooded regularly and the cost to do a load of laundry went up nearly every six months.
Bugs were a problem in the apartment as silverfish and large "waterbugs" - some sort of beetle - would come out of the closet where the heater/air conditioner was kept.
We had to have maintenance come out and charge our freon on our air conditioner about six times every summer. We needed a new unit, but they never would provide one. Our summer electric bills would sky-rocket as the air would run endlessly trying to cool the apartment.
There are no dishwashers in the apartments. The rent went up every year we we there. It wasn't expensive, but for what you get in return, I feel we were paying too much.
The neighbors were loud and what one might call "rednecks" and "hoodlums". I hated living there and would not recommend the place to anyone.
