Counting down the days...

Ya know, when we moved in, we definately did settle because we were in a hurry but even then, it didn't seem THAT bad. I'm not even going to discuss things, I will list them:
-we had a fruitfly infestation atleast 3-4 times and all they could tell us was that it was coming up through the drains and to get some bleach (which we did way too many times)
-neighbors below us are so loud (you can hear EVERYTHING through the vents or AC closet) (yes, there's nothing worse than having to listen to someone having sex while you are trying to study for class)
-the laundry room looks like a scene from a horror movie
-I keep seeing empty liquor bottles under the bench outside
-halls aren't kept clean
-bathroom sink keeps clogging up and we can't get Draino or anything to work
-when we moved in, the sink had what looks like razorblade slits in the ceramic
-place is tiny, mineaswell call it a studio apartment with an actual entrance into the bedroom
-during the summer, our AC must have gone out atleast 5 times and when we called to get it fixed, it took them a while to get them over here. And when they finally did, all they did was recharged it with freon and then it'd break a week later. There's nothing worse than living on the top floor not being able to sleep because it is so hot.
-management let a contracted maintanience (sp') come in with the dead bolt key without letting us know or asking
-windows aren't very well put in, they are the ones that tilt out so you can clean them. one night, it just flipped out on its own which definately isn't safe. (mind you, i can't even get these things open so i never have)
-the hall lighting is never on good timing so i have nearly fallen because i couldn't see
-kitchens are so tiny, we had to put nearly all of our kitchen things into storage because of it
-closet doors aren't hung very well, they keep sliding diagonal to it's fixture
-bathrooms are so tiny, I hit my elbow everyday trying to do my hair
-my car got keyed in the parking lot
-management is clearly fake and nasty right to your face
-they will not let you pay your rent in the office right in the community, you have to mail it. Wonder why that is' So they can claim they didn't get it, charge a late fee and legal fees (they add up) (and also $40 to replace your coupon book if you lose it)
-they just started offering online rent paying, we got excited...go to pay our rent online and they charge 30 DOLLARS for it, crazy...
-it is extremely dark outside at night
-i watch drug deals happen in broad daylight
-Seriously, I could keep going, but I think you get the point.
To break it down, they DO NOT appreciate their tenants and they let you know it. I would seriously, not recommend this place...it's going downhill extremely fast. Just think about one thing, why do they have 32 empty units in this complex alone' Out of the 12 in my building, I believe only 7 are occupied. That just doens't happen.
Furthermore, I wanted to give you something to think about. I just read the review before this one and it said that they were happy because there is no security deposit and they don't ask for a life story. Let me tell you, it was completely different not even a year ago. They DEFINATELY asked for our life story and DEFINATELY charged us a security deposit. They are desperate and this shows that.
Please think about this move...
