15 days til we MOVE From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/9/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008   Let's see where do I start' (by the way I am writing this sitting in my apartment it is 100deg. outside and just about the same in side!) I have lived here for a year now and this has all happened just in the year I have lived here. -The AC gone out twice-one the charged with freon to make it cool, now they have done all that and its STILL not working. -BUGS galore---I had roaches because of the NASTY people who lived below us. - The people who lived below us had stench coming up through our sinks and bathroom drains. - Someone in our complex had a gas leak and I called the smell in. It took them 45 minutes to figure out that YES it was a gas leak and not just smelly carpet stuff. - half of the maintainence crew doesn't know english so when they try to tell you something you completly confused! Plus I don't think any of them have a high school degree and really know what is going on. - we had a leak in a pipe that grew mold through our wall. - we had HUGE cracks going acroos our walls from who knows what and it took them 5 weeks to actually fix them. - each apartment comes fully equipped with an alarm system that you can't even turn on. - if you want cable tv in your bedroom you can forget it. The only cable hook up is in the living room. - taking a bath has to be quick cause the water drains right out. And if your taking a shower the water flows to the floor. - going out of our building we have to jump from the door to the end of the sidewalk because the smokers like to spit loogies ON the sidewalk..no not in the grass where people don't walk- on the sidewalk - if you come home after 9pm good luck finding a parking spot, i usually had to park all the way down the street. I could keep going but i am sure you have heard it all.
