Country Club Apartments

Country Club has shootings, gangs and drug dealing going on in plain view during the summer. Lots of theft and prostitution. Stay far away.

This place is horrible. The buildings are full of roaches, and section 8 only. Last year around July there was a gang shooting fight going on in front of buildings 7509 & 7507. Not one shot, but there were multiple shots and gang members with guns shooting at each other in front of the buildings! The bullet holes are still there. This can be verified through police reports.
Our building flooded and management took forever to clean the mold, while my family was getting sick. Attached is a picture of the mold growing on the hallway. It took management 3 weeks to get rid of these blinds growing mold and making my family who is allergic to mold sick.
They cater to section 8 tenants, and people who have no other choice. There is a lot of open air drug dealing during the summer, there have been multiple shootings.
Due to the type of people who live here, our vehicles have gotten accident damage with no note 2-3x times now in this lot.
There is completely inadequate parking, and management has put rental storage units on a group of parking spots.
Managment is rude, unhelpful, and requires legal threats to move on anything you have as rights being a tenant.
The reason there are not more reviews of country club is because most of the tenants can not use computers or afford them, this is not a slam but truth. There is open air Crip & Blood gang activity in this complex, which is only seen during the spring/summer. People drinking liquor all day in the hallways, smoking in the hallways and leaving used condoms in the hallways.
There are 4 prostitutes who live in the complex which walk up and down Furnace Branch RD daily spreading their filth. People regularly go so fast through the lot your children run the risk of getting killed by the section 8 gangbangers speeding through.
The neighborhood is full of jobless drunks walking up and down the street during the day and toothless crack addicted prostitutes.
Our A/C went out in the middle of a heat wave during the 2006 summer, management had to be ridden and contacted hourly to get it replaced within a week, while my child was unable to stay in this third floor apartment due to heat.
I have been approached by drug addicts at one point living in my building to buy a stolen guitar for 20$, the guy was visibly shaking and obviously a junkie.
The shootings can be verified by police reports, just a month ago there was a shooting at the bar Dietrichs literally 2 blocks down furnace branch on a saturday night. The prostitutes and other folks socialize and congregate there, so do the drug dealers.
Management when notified with details, dates and apartment numbers of drug dealers simply says call the police. The police say, tell management to kick them out because of the clause in the lease. It's a cycle that never ends leaving you living in harms way.

There is no contradiction.
There was a shooting on the country club property, this is public police record, as well as the shooting at Dietrichs. They were seperate incidents.
You can try to pad this place, but the facts speak for themselves. There are buildings with folks selling drugs out of them throughout the day as vehicles stop by for 5 minutes, somebody runs out and drops something, then goes back in. This same building houses one of the prostitutes who often is so high on drugs she can barely walk, she is the caucasian one with sunglasses who walks up and down furance branch road with her thumb out soliciting clients.
The other prostitute lives on the side of the complex near the convenience store and has a young girl, often they work together walking around and selling their wares.
This has been going on for years, the same apartments and buildings. When notified managment says to call the police, the police say management needs to do something about it because it is a lease violation.
Truth is managment refuses to do anything about any of the issues unless they are presented with legal ramifications.
I can take some pictures of the drug deals, and the two drug addicted prostitutes who live within this place and have been frequenting furnace branch rd for years.
Again, if the section 8 rent is paying management does not care what happens. W
When the shooting on the property happened management offered to let folks who felt unsafe out of their lease, and that shooting happened in front of the same building notorious for drug traffic and police calls on summer nights.
Do not kid yourself. Something tells me you have an interest in covering up the problems with this place, or you really do not believe this.
IF you are moving in, you *will* find out soon. More than likely you are just an employee of Sawyer the company who runs the complex.

I totally agree with the renter, this place is a RAT race, and I mean that literally. I lived there from May 2008 to June 2008 and had to move because of the RAT INFESTATION. There was a gang style shooting right in front of me and my young daughter, after one week of moving in. I was mortified. If anyone is giving this place GOOD reviews they obviously work for the complex.

I do not work for the complex.. I am a real renter, actually sitting in my apartment right now. Don't know what building you were at but I have seen NO rats at all and now have 3 people I know that live here and they are quite content. Not sure if you attracted the rats, but I know that I am clean and have never had a problem. Not that your posts are really any interest of mine but I don't want false information going out if I know that this complex really isn't as bad as you claim. I just paid my 4th month of rent and if I had seen anything so horrible then I wouldn't still be here. Why would I have recommended this place to 2 of my friends if it was such a ---- hole? This place is fine for me for 15 months until I can afford a house. For now, you all can shove it and go along with your non rat-infested lives.. or maybe they have followed you out the door. Not sure but nice of you to check up!
