Gatewater Landing Apartments

No value for money

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2003
The good: The apartments themselves are wonderful, the area is relatively quiet.
The bad: This place has been on a downward slide for the last 2 years and shows no sign of improvement. Dog excrement everywhere. Entryways reek of urine on hot and/or humid days. Snow clearance is practically non-existent. Salt use is kept to a bare minimum on walkways only forcing residents to spend weeks negotiating rutted ice to get to cars or trash dumpsters. Common areas inside buildings are only cleaned once a week, but are a mess the rest of the week due to the number of dogs allowed in buildings. Terrible for anyone with allergies. Not to mention having to negotiate the dirt and much the dogs track into buildings. Laundry machines are often broken and the laundry area usually a mess, so there is nowhere to put your laundry.
In summary: Nice apartments, non-existent community management, rents way too high for the (lack of) service.
