Exodus

The mass exodus of moving trucks on the first of the month says it all. Saw at least 6 different trucks this month. Too expensive for what you get, which is basically 4 walls. The office never returns calls, repairs take months or you have to make them yourself, area around trash dumpsters is strewn with garbage, used cat litter, rotting food, etc, laundry areas are unclean and machines often broken, neighbors loud and too many large dogs, and inconsiderate owners not cleaning up after them, teenagers roaming around wild, and yes the management does the barest minimum of snow clearance. Usually a narrow path "ploughed" down the center of the parking lot and often not even down to bare pavement. Entries and parking lot are left icy and treacherous until it eventually melts. Same with what others have said about inconsistent rents. They seem to make up rates out of thin air, especially at least renewal time. Also they use a billing company for gas and water which issues 2 seperate bills and then charges a $2 fee for each bill, so you actually wind up paying a higher fee than your gas bill even is at times. Major rip off.
If you're willing to pay this kind of rent, buy a condo or a house. It's money much better spent.
