No regard for safety

Despite a recent 2 alarm fire destroying 3 apartments and damaging at least 12 more (as reported in the Baltimore Sun, Maryland Gazzette and channel 13), the latest management regime of the month hasn't seen fit to communicate about this incident to other residents in the complex. Calls of concern are met with indifference as they keep trying to put people off with vague explanations, changing stories and lots of "Oh call back later and we'll have an anser." When you call back you get more excuses and vagueness. And they NEVER call you back if you leave a message. That must be a United Dominion policy because none of the management teams over at least the last 2yrs have bothered returning phone calls.

They told some residents there would be inspections of the electircal systems in every unit, and others that there would be no inspections because it's not necessary.

If you value the safety of yourself, your family and your pets, do not move here. Or else make sure you've got plenty of insurance. This place is too cheap to even pay for the displaced families to stay in a hotel. They called in the Red Cross to stump up, who are always short of funds anyway. With the ridiculous rents we pay this complex could certainly afford to stump up a couple hundred bucks for a few nights in the local fleabag hotel. It's not like Glen Burnie has anything resembling the Ritz! Thank God for the Red Cross or those poor people would have had no help at all.

But Management office will litter your door with cutesy newsletters claiming to love their tenants and offering advice on important matters like making jelly or some kind of nonsense. Sometimes you even get notices of evictions and utility shut off....that are clearly marked for a completely different building!

But don't worry about being bothered by nuisance notes concerning SAFETY OF YOUR HOME or other truly important communications.

They take your money and leave you out in the cold, or seeking medical treatment for nerves because of constant worries about safety. Don't move here! I'm definitely leaving when my lease is up this year.
