I lived at Gatewater for 5 years, and it had it's ups and downs, as does anyplace. I never had any problems with the maintainance staff. It was always very quiet. I never heard of any break-ins. There was a fire once. I did see police there a few times. But when you have that many people in an area, someone is bound to do something stupid. Nobody ever bothered us. The walls of the apartments were thick enought that you don't hear much from your neighbors. I'm not saying you NEVER hear them, but the layout of the apartments helps keep it quiet. Now that we have moved out, we actually kind of miss it, and are hoping to move back there this year.
