Realistic review after a few months here.

So I decided that I should write a review because it seems that everything I read on here is extremely one sided and from mostly pissed off tenants. So, the starting point of my review will be the cost. This complex is extremely affordable for what you receive. I live in a two bedroom one bath apartment with my girlfriend and dog and there is more than enough room in this apartment, while I wish we had a second bathroom, the space and functionality is extremely good. We pay under $1000 per month and that includes all utilities except electric. This is very affordable for us, but what I have realized is that while we are young and this is affordable for us. This makes it affordable for older people with several kids who live 6 people to a two bedroom apartment. So, this leads to you having a huge variety of people, from low income older people with kids to higher income but younger like us. So, the cost to live here is very good.
Now, moving on to the noise and parking. The main problem here is the noise from either people below or above you. We can hear the people below our apartment tv and music very well, while this is annoying, it is tolerable. The main problem comes from the people above us, who have 5 kids and two adults. They constantly run around and pound on the floor, which causes way more noise than anyone else in the building. So, the ceiling and floors cause the most noise. The one thing is that you can't hear the neighbor directly next to you at all, so that is a huge plus, unless their dog barks.
Now, the parking I think is more than adequate, there are always plenty of spots, and for those who complain about towing and visitors parking. There is visitor parking at every building, so if the one in front of your building is full, then park at another building. The towing company does come around frequently, but we have not had any problem as long as you park in visitor parking or resident parking depending on which you are.
Now, the staff is just ok. the office staff is very weird and the people who have reviewed them are right on about that they are flakey on what the do and don't enforce. I have seen some funny things here as far as who they make pay and who they don't The only word of advice is don't create a problem for them and they don't create a problem for you.
The last problem or concern is that we have not lived here during the summer months, and the windows and doors are single pane and leak very easily. So, this could make it expensive to run the AC during the summer months, but we will have to see. We did put up some coverings over the windows in order to keep the cold draft from blowing in. The other problem that comes from these windows is noise easily flows in from the street and smokers that are outside.
So, in conclusion if you are looking for an affordable place to live that is secluded from the main roads and in a good location, this is a very good place. The main problems come from your neighbors, not the complex. So I would recommend this place, but feel free to ask me if you have a specific question. Oh, and as a side note the complex has been recently been sold, so I will update if anything really changes.
