I have lived at Gatewater Landing for five yers now. I have never had a problem here. As to the other postings:

Yes there was a shooting but it happens everywhere and this was the 1st time here. The office staff handled this so great. They were there all night. The managment company released a letter with information to update us.

The parking..come on there has been permit parking in effect since 2005. Catch a clue!

Noise.. Yes you can hear people bove you in every place I have lived other than a private home you can hear.

The staff here is great! The manager has worked her way up and has been here a few years now. She gets stuff done unlike the past managers. My increase was only 3% this year. Come on $20 increase.. Move to Columbia where you pay $1500 plus for a to bedroom.
I love my home it is mine and I would tell everyone yes Gatewater is a great place to live!!

Yeah, management sent out a letter that said and i'm quoting this "Anne Arundel Police further confirmed that this was an isolated incident because it was a situation that involved a non-resident." ---- OMG WHAT THE HECK!!!! BULL CRAP!!! THE RESIDENT WAS SHOT!!!!!!! HOW WAS IT INVOLVING NON-RESIDENTS?!?! This letter was not to inform you, it was to cloud the information to lie to you & make you feel better. It's not truthful @ all. They also said that all the suspects were apprehended when really only like 2 of 5 suspects were apprehended. THIS PLACE IS FULL OF LIES - I think it's funny you found that letter informative & Helpful because I found it anything but, deceptive would be the word. Then The next week they planted pretty flowers & put "we love our residents" signs everywhere to try to kiss ass - poor unsuspecting new comers.

I would really like to see these fabulous, problem-free, affordable apartments that people are living in, because with some of the complaints on here I wonder where these people are considering moving to? I think this complex is great- well off the main road and in a residential community, so seems to be minimal in the crime dept... i moved here from The Villages at Marley Station, so believe me- this is like a palace compared to that sh*thole. You are going to have the same issues with the majority of apartment complexes- people living above you being loud, parking, blah blah blah. I feel like this is probably the best one out there for the money in AA county. Every long time resident I speak to loves it here, and tells me that shooting that occured in April really was the only time they had seen anything like that happen. Beats watching drug deals on the corners at the Villages.My family feels safe here, and if you hate it that much why don't you just move out???
