Well, since my last review our family has been living at Gatewater for about 8 months. I have to say, I truly love it here. Our apartment is spacious with HUGE closets (and lots of them), the track lighting, cabinets and appliances in the kitchen are beautiful. We have NEVER seen a single bug in our apartment, and the little field mouse i saw ONCE never returned after a prompt visit from maintenence. Speaking of maintenence- we hardly ever need them, because the apartment is in good shape and always has been. Once we called because our screen door came off the hinges and we couldn't get it back in (it was our fault) and they came out and fixed it like new. I have always felt safe and at home in my apartment- though the neighbors can sometimes be loud and rude... but you have to deal with that pretty much anywhere. I always have a great parking spot right in front of my building- they tow cars that don't belong there, which I do like- except they do need to add more visitor spaces because there are not nearly enough! all in all, they few minor problems i have are far outweighed by the peace of mind we have living here. The apartment we live in was pricey when we moved in, and the rates have since dropped- so, crazy as it sounds, we will be moving into a new apartment with a lower rent when our lease expires because i simply do not want to leave! I would reccomend this community to anyone- right by the water, private piers... hope this helps someone!

Thanks for your input...most of us don't have a problem here, Not everything is going to be perfect anywhere, but if you are an adult and take responsibilty for yourself...then there is no reason to complain.I like it and I like the permits for the same reason, I can usually find a spot close to where I live. He probably did deserve to be towed and is just looking for excuses...that's whats wrong with some people these days, always looking for a way to blame somebody else, instead of owning up to their mistakes...maybe he should find a single house to rent so he can have his own driveway...or maybe he could just follow the rules like the rest of us-it's not a hard thing to do. and my response is from a renter here also, I am not a staff person or anything else, Again he was looking for an excuse to put blame on somebody else!
